We are a small certified organic farm nestled in the misty mountains of rural San Isidro, Ecuador. We cultivate organic produce, including tropical fruits, vegetables, citruses, bananas, and cacao. Additionally, we are beginning some local development programs to help the community.
We accept volunteers to work in the farm and community. You can choose your own focus area, but tasks include harvesting and planting fruits and vegetables, learning how to maintain an organic farm, cataloging species and developing our seed bank, helping our agroecological tourism efforts, teaching English and computer classes for the local community, etc.
VOLUNTEER INFO: Accommodation is included in exchange for working 4 hours per day, 5 days per week. We prefer that you stay at least a week. We have electricity and running water, and we're working on getting internet. We are an hour away from Ecuador's coastal eco-city Bahia de Caraquez, where volunteers often like to go on the weekends.
This is a fantastic opportunity to experience authentic life in the Ecuadorian countryside while helping out a community and learning the ins and outs of organic farming.
