Miguel A. Suarez-Pierra's Studio

Painting has been always a tool that had helped me discover
about myself and to communicate with others. The emotions,
sentiments, and unknowns of my persona (read soul) that exist
inside of me, materialize and become tangible in the external
world. Looking at my work I learn about my inner self and my
relationship with the external world. Sometimes this
relationship had been stressful and painful; my ideals and
feelings were in marked difference with the status quo.

The more I know about myself, the more I am in harmony with others and the world. This knowledge makes these ideals and feelings grow stronger every day.

I believe there is an artist in all of us. It does not matter what you do but what you are.
If you love what you do, and you do it the best you can, then you are an artist.
