Salamander Puerto Cayo

It has an open floor plan (700 sq. ft.), a loft with two small beds, a large terrace with private gate to the beach, and a small patio in the front.
We are located in Puerto Cayo, one hour south of Manta.

It is a separate building with private entrance form the road and guarantees complete privacy.

You are welcome to smoke on the deck facing the beach.

Check-in is at 2pm, and check-out is by 11am. But we are flexible. Talk to us.

Bath towels should remain in bathroom, we provide you with beach towels.

Let us know if you have any special needs before you come and we will do our very best to meet them.

If you break or damage anything, please let us know, Accidents do happen.

You will have the entire house to yourself.
We only get in the space to do maintenance or to water the plants.
We live next door and are available if you need anything.

Getting Around
Salamandra is located 4 km (2,5 miles) north of the center of Puerto Cayo and 80 km (50 miles) south of Manta, so having a car is recommended.
Alternatively, there are several ways to move around.
Puerto Cayo has several taxi tricycles (Mototaxis) that will pick you up and take you to town for $2.
And there´s a couple of particular Pick-ups that work like local taxis.
In any case, we can arrange pick-ups and drop-offs from the airport or trips to Manta to get groceries.

Parking
You can use the restaurant´s parking lot on the main road. Or you can leave your car in a gated area across the road.

The Neighborhood
Ii is located next door to Alebrije, the best restaurant in the area.
On the other side there is a boutique hotel, Sanctuary.
It is a very safe environment. We are close to two fishing villages (population 6,000 and 1,000, respectively). Everybody knows everybody.

Other Things to Note
We usually leave in the refrigerator what we think you could use from previous guests (milk, juice, jam, tea etc.)
