Out there in the world of kids, meeting them where they are, accepting them as they are, with a vision for who they can become.

Young Life is a world class organization for adolescents. Our staff and volunteers enter the world of kids, focusing on what matters to them -- fun, adventure, friendship and a sense of significance. In doing so, we earn the privilege of talking to them about the good news of Jesus and His love for them. Kids' lives are dramatically impacted when caring adults come alongside them, and they begin to see that their lives have great worth, meaning and purpose.

Young Life no empieza con un programa. Empieza con adultos quienes están interesados suficiente sobre los jovenes que van a donde ellos, en su territorio y su cultura, desarollando puentes de amistades auténticas. Éstas relaciones no suceden en una sola noche — toman tiempo, paciencia, confianza y consistencia.

Los líderes de Young Life pasan muchas horas con jovenes — a donde ellos están, como ellos están. Nosotros escuchamos sus cuentos y aprendemos que es importante para ellos porque nos importa oír de sus gozos, triunfos, dolores, y contratiempos.

Nosotros creemos en el poder de presencia. Las vidas de los jovenes son impactadas dramaticamente cuando adultos cariñosos caminan con ellos, compartiendo el amor de Dios con ellos. Porque su líder de Young Life cree en ellos, ellos empiezan a ver que sus vidas tienen un gran valor, significado, y propósito.

Esta es el primer paso a una aventura de por vida, las decisions que toman hoy, basada en el amor de Dios por ellos, impactará decisiones futurísticas ... arreras escogidas, matrimonios formados y familias criadas.
