Puerto Engabao Hostel -Surf Shelter

The only hostel in Engabao run by surfers for surfers!

Hostal Puerto Engabao Surf Shelter is located in the small fishing village of Puerto Engabao and is along with General Villamil Playas the closest beach to Ecuador's biggest city Guayaquil (2 hours bus ride 1.5 hr with car). The surf shelter is 3 blocks (200 m) behind the catholic bamboo church, follow the signs!

We have 4 rooms available ands lots of hammocks, plus FREE WIFI, Netflix, FREE TOILET PAPER outdoor BBQ, LAUNDRY $5/load, FREE MOSQUITO NETS, FANS and KITCHEN facility! We are open for visitors who want information about surfing and traveling throughout Ecuador, Galapagos, and N. Peru. Nice comfortable international vibe.
